Our Team

Rebecca has been the General Manager of Albert & Meyer for over 15 years, starting as the receptionist, then on to arranging and conducting. She is the mother of three adult children who have all worked within the funeral business. Her career and life experiences led her to have a greater understanding of the needs of those suffering grief, loss and trauma. Rebecca's passion is having a holistic approach to the whole cycle that comes with death; palliative care, funerals and counselling. She strongly believes that aftercare support is as important as the funeral itself. Rebecca has diplomas in both counselling and art therapy; she is an active member of the Holistic Healing Association and an experienced death doula. Rebecca sits on the advisory board for the National Association of Loss and Grief (NALAG) and is the Branch Coordinator for NALAG Greater Sydney. Rebecca also runs her own private counselling business.

Ben worked in Printing and Business Relationship Management before moving into the much more rewarding field of Funeral Arranging. “There is much more satisfaction in the work I do here than in any other job that I have had”. Ben is also heavily involved in Junior Rugby Union as a Coach and Vice President with the Northern Barbarians Junior Rugby Club.
